Secondary breast reconstruction (MSR) after total mastectomy and radiotherapy is usually based on the production of a free or pedicled flap. However, more and more patients are eager for minimally invasive reconstruction, refusing the risk of additional pain and scarring. In these situations, the question of a prosthetic reconstruction arises. The problem of reconstruction by implant alone on irradiated skin is burdened with a high rate of complications and unsightly results. Ten years ago, the failure rate was still 50 to 60%.

Based on this observation, Dr. Rais Razzouk and LPG® Medical have pooled their expertise for the well-being of women affected by this scourge. The objective is to optimize the possibilities of secondary breast reconstructions to be performed after external radiotherapy to help younger and younger patients to a less invasive reconstruction such as lipofilling (autologous fat injection) performed before prosthesis insertion. Medical endermologie® optimizes the distribution of the injected fat but especially to prepare the skin for lipofilling, revitalize it, revascularize it.
